The Jung and the Restless

    A person needs a few layers of protection to make it through the world. No one shows all of themselves. We hide little pieces.

Who we think we are depends on what we need to believe about ourselves. That helps us manage our day-to-day affairs. But the bulk of our Self lies buried in the unconscious.

    The Shadow is a collector. (Guess what it has.) Every night it brings up its black bag. We say, ``I'm really busy right now, perhaps tomorr-- ``No, I insist," it commands. We scan the room for exits. The Shadow plunges its hands deep in the sack yanking out a... Then we wake up. Or we take a look at ourselves, and enter the dream.



    Hint: There be dragons down there. Some come to kill you; those are your allies. Some fight to protect you at any cost; those are your enemies.

We live separate lives within one lifetime. This is tough on our bodies and our minds. All the shadow wants to do is talk. If you will not discuss it now, the shadow will come back later... and bigger. Consider a chat with the
