If so then I would suspect your dreamer is helping you approach what it means to graduate from whatever mind-set or reality you are currently captivated by.
I know that betrayal is often the only way we graduate from a naive trust of the world and loved ones into a more mature one.
And jumping off the cliff certainly is about your attempt to experience radical transformation.
