With regards to your brain snap, a very similar thing happened to me three weeks ago. As I live in Southern California, the first thought that raced through my mind when I was popped awake, was that I just experienced my first earthquake. It felt as though our entire condomium was lifted about a foot off the ground and then dropped suddenly.
I asked my wife, who happened to be lying/laying awake next to me at the time, if she felt THAT. She confirmed that no earthquake had occured and that my body had just shaken itself. Man, it scared the shit out of me! I didn't fall back to sleep for at least two hours.
I plan to ask my doctor about this, the next time I see him. My mother thinks it might be a brain aneurism or something. I sure as hell hope not!
I'm currently taking a couple of medications: prozac (for happiness) and prenovil (for a good blood pressure reading). Is this common to any of you?
Please advise. I will return with news as I acquire it.
