As a psychotherapist working with archetypal perspectives I pay attention to not only dreams but the images within dreams which move us, sometimes haunt us.
That is why I suggested watching the film Bliss. Stories, myths, fairy tales, and movies can evoke associations which lead us to revelation.
Anyway, there are three dimensions to reality: literal, psychological, and mythic. Each domain must be investigated.
This investigation is often done best interacting with a guide who has both gone through his or her own therapy and is experienced with others stories as well.
Choosing such a therapist is key. I would look for someone who is versed in Jungian or Archetypal perspectives, if you like what I have offered in this limited format.
But for now, investigate the images in mythology of the bull and the other ones which evoke you.
